was evident at an early age.
After graduating with a degree in Industrial Design from
Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Fatima worked in commercial Graphic
and Industrial Design for over twenty years.
In 1999, a corporate relocation brought Fatima and her family to
Geneva IL, where brushes and paints captured her attention once again.
Fatima honed her artistic skills with watercolor classes through the Geneva Park
District, Fine Line Arts Center, DuPage Art League. Additionally, she regularly
participates in workshops with recognized instructors.
She is currently member of the Batavia Artist Guild, Wayne Art League, and the
Transparent Watercolor Society of America.
She is a classical artist that has expanded her body of work to include murals,
decorative paintings, faux finishes, furniture, and cabinet paintings.
Fatima's natural skills, significant experience, and passion for her work, combined
with extensive training by the most respected faux finishes institutes in the
Chicago area, allow her to create fine finishes and beautiful art in every project.
